About the Blog
This site functions as a home for a variety of things: formal teaching I’ve prepared in the context of the local church; papers completed for various courses, both formal and informal, in which I participate; thoughts on Scripture as I encounter it in the course of study and regular Bible reading; books I’m currently reading; and anything else that comes to mind. Edited for clarity in reading, some will appear in their entirety and others will be truncated.
About the Name
Steward of Grace comes from I Peter 4:10-11: “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies — in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” (ESV) For the full story, check out the very first post here.
